Pants were incredibly warm hiking in Iceland during January-and easily transitioned to restaurant attire.
I really like these. More than I thought I would tbh. the nylon panels on the front kept me relatively dry during an absolute downpour and the insulating fleece fabric dried fast enough that I didnt really feel the soak. My one issue is no proper cellphone pocket unless I'm just really dumb. Unfortunately, few of us are blessed with the luxury of leaving our smartphones at home on our runs and it would be, well, necessary to include a tight zip pocket that can hold one (including the case). I also worry about the flat draw string. While there is stitched belt loops within the waistband, it still has a tendency to fold due to it being flat and elastic. I dont know how the elastic while hold up but it does have nice silicone imprints throughout that help hold a secure knot. Anyway great pants. Buy em. Do it.
Took along for a bikepacking trip with nighttime temps in the low 30s Fahrenheit. Pants have incredible warmth and comfort. They also work well on the bike over bibs. Loose enough for comfort and tight enough to not get in the way of the drive chain. Ankle zip helps remove pant without taking shoes off. Wind-blocking front paneling is great.
I've been digging these pants so much I got rid of my other fleece pants because I know these are just going to the job so much better. The mix of shell and stretchy, fleecey fabric is super comfy and ideal not just for running but any outdoor thing you might do where you'd think about wearing fleece pants or sweats. Honestly I'll probably layer them under my ski bibs on really cold days this winter as extra chairlift insulation too. The fit is on point! Nice job.
The pants changed my winter training. Stayed warmer, dryer and more comfortable. Would absolutely recommend if you want to feel better this winter.
