Foehn has done it again with a stylish but technical midlayer for your everyday wear or when you want to push it on the trail. This jacket is stretchy and very light with just enough warmth for activities where you would generate a lot of heat. So far, I have worn this when snowboarding at the resort and I wore this under my shell and it was just the right amount of warmth. I wouldn't wear this layer under 50 Fahrenheit if being still. I will need to take it out on more hiking/climbing trips. Otherwise, I am wearing this very often as a casual jacket. The technical capability of the jacket and it's minimalistic design is what always does it for me when considering Foehn pieces.
exactly what I was looking for…fit/finish/colour excellent…light weight and temperature-controlled comfort…(I would love a suit made from Primaloft) A quality garment from Foehn
This jacket packs a healthy amount of warmth when you want it and breaths amazingly. It’s a perfect layer for under a shell when when winter climbing or skiing. I have used it as a stand alone piece ice climbing when temps are near 0°C or and ski touring on colder days. It sheds light moisture well and dries super fast. An essential piece for all cool weather conditions and activities.
This has now become an essential piece of kit for me. It warmth to weight ratio is crazy and it packs down very small. No reason to leave home without it, whether running, alpine climbing or walking the dog. It has replaced my Arcteryx Proton LT as my go to insulator. Clean lines, warmth and ventilation. Excited to try it while split-boarding this winter.
Winter run essential, light yet warm. Keeps the cold off while not over heating. Absolutely see being used under hard shell for ski touring this winter also. Great moving lightweight insulator.
