I bought these pants for hiking and climbing and ended up wearing them for almost everything. I love the wide stretch waist band and the gusseted crotch. No wedgies or digging. The stretch ankle keeps my pants from sliding up while I'm climbing or even just lounging. Deep pockets I can actually put stuff in! Pockets! I wear these on the golf course now and the pockets are great for golf balls and tees, while the stretch ankle keeps the pants off the wet grass. New favorite pants ever.
As someone who usually struggles finding hiking/outdoor pants that fit both my waist and hips, these nailed it. I'm 5' 7" with a 30 inch waist, a 42 inch hip, and athletic legs/butt. The size 8 fits me perfectly. There is no awkward thigh pulling, waist gap, or camel toe here. They are super comfortable and I thoroughly enjoy hiking or just lounging in them. I can't quite give them five stars though. The material is a lint magnet! I have the cobalt and mahogany colors from the Kickstarter batch and anything remotely fuzzy gets stuck to these pants. They also stretch out the longer you wear them, especially the longer you sit in them, which may be a plus for some people, but I think it makes the pants look a bit frumpy by the end of the day.
I *love* having comfortable pants that look great! These are comfortable enough I've worn them to bed before, and I get unsolicited compliments on them all the time - they look *that* good. That said, I'm really disappointed that after one day of pruning fruit trees and moving a firewood pile, the fabric on my front thighs has numerous pulls in the threads. If it weren't for the advertising hype - all those awesome climbers wearing them on the rocks - I might've been less surprised and less disappointed. I have the olive ones from Kickstarter and am ordering another pair in black, thanks to the current sale. My olive ones will be the work/workout/hiking pair and I'll try to be kinder to the black pair. And just a suggestion: add another zip pocket on the other thigh? Thanks!
I've owned a pair of the women's brise jogger from their Kickstarter campaign and they are a great all rounder pants for work and for outdoora. I was surprised with their elastic cuff at the ankles but I like how you can tuck it under for the office or have them out if you're at home. The fabric is nice and stretchy but still keeps to its shape. The waistband does take a bit of manoeuvring in and out of. I have just ordered another pair of their jogger and see they have updated their waistband to include two elastic panels on either side of the hips. I do like the concept as it fits better on the hips but wonder if it will hold up during the test of time.
Different lengths options would be great. Mine are a bit long for my height. The pants are comfortable and can be worn up or down. And definitely can climb in them. Great zippered pocket. My only really grip is getting them on and off. To the point it does put my off choosing to wear them. The hip band is tight and getting them over my hips is difficult, but once they are on they do fit well.
