I am 5' 8" and 150lbs size 32 is a comfortable fit, leg length is fine, not too long!
I just purchased my third pair of Brise pants. I use them primarily for casual wear, travel and lighter hiking. They have been flawless from a durability standpoint. I suspect they are capable of much more, but honestly they are so great for everyday use that I haven't had the heart to subject them to more abuse. My experience with Foehn customer service has been excellent as well.
I have the original Brise that I used recently on a two week bike touring trip in Spain. Kept the mud, dirt, and water off. In the historic cores of the cities, these pants fit right in with the Euro aesthetic, slim but not skinny. Loved them so much that I bought the new Brise Schoeller, these are lighter in overall weight than the originals. Like that I was able to get then in a 30in inseam.
I’ve worn these pants many times and way more than I initially imagined. Instead of finding occasions to wear them, these pants became my go-to for too many things. The amount of stretch is spot-on, the half-fixed half elastic waist makes them look a bit more formal. The ankle cuff adds a bit of streetwear to it. All in all very functional and well-made
I have enjoyed wearing my original Brise pants for hiking and casual wear and when the new Brise pants made from Schoeller material were available I didn't hesitate to buy a pair. Awesome material the Swiss know how to make outdoor clothing material.
